It’s that time of year once again… hop on in to get your photo with our live bunnies, just in time for Easter. Cost is $5.00 per photo. All proceeds used for feed and care for our farm animals. Photos are emailed /text to you so you can print/share as many times as you like. Hope to see you here on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
The Parma Radio Club will transmit using solar power from the Stearns cabin in celebration of Earth Day. Stop in to learn more about ham radio. The event is free and open to all ages.
Make plans to join us for the Parma Area Historical Society annual meeting to be held in the Stearns cabin on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
A review of past year’s accomplishments, an update of repairs and renovations completed and planned, a report of our new farm animals, and details about our 4-H club will be presented. A financial report for the 2021 fiscal year will be available. Trustee elections will be held. The 2022 planned events and activities will also be announced.
We hope you will join us as we begin a celebration of Parma Area Historical Society’s 50th Anniversary.

Our farm animals look forward to your visit.
As always, admission is free on Saturdays.
Please note: DO NOT bring any food from home for our farm animals. We do sell feed tubs at the big red barn if interested.
Kids and adults will have the opportunity to talk on the worldwide amateur (a.k.a. ‘ham’) radio bands with kids in far reaching places.
Farm visitors will receive instruction from members of the Parma Radio Club to use amateur radio to tell kids around the country about their exciting day at Stearns Homestead.
Join the Parma Radio Club on June 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Stearns cabin.

Visit with a re-enactor of the American Revolutionary War to learn the facts and a bit of fiction about why we celebrate Independence Day.
Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Free admission. All ages welcome.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS
Bring your paint brushes, chalk, charcoal, pencils… and join us for a day of pasture art.
You pick your spot to create your masterpiece as farm visitors observe your work.
Artist set up starts at 10:00 am; farm opens to visitors from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Artist sign up will begin May 1st.
Join us for our 2nd WWII on the Homestead event on Saturday July 30. 2022.
Visit with Historical interpreters and reenactors, view uniforms and artifacts from our collections, learn about rationing, home canning, victory gardens and life on the farm during the war.
U.S. Army European theatre will be on display in the Gibbs side yard.
