Our garden is growing and we are gearing up for another great farm market season. We look forward to seeing you starting June 29 from 10 :00 am to 2:00 pm in the front pasture.
It’s time to get organized and get your dates set for your classroom or group farm tour at Stearns Homestead.
Stearns Homestead is a historic farm in Parma with over 75 farm animals who reside at the Homestead, not including all the wild ducks and geese that fly in and out.
The homestead is a 48 acre site located in the heart of Parma, Ohio and features two historic homes, a Yankee-style barn and several out buildings to house some of the ducks, geese, chickens, goats, sheep and some horses.
We offer groups of 10 or more a 1 .5 hour farmhand guided tour weekdays to visit with the farm animals and provide feed for everyone in your group to feed the animals as part of the per person fee of $4.00.
Pack a lunch or snack and plan to use our picnic tables or if available our cabin for another 30 minutes or so for your group to extend your stay.
We are currently booking group tours for spring and summer 2019.
Complete the farm visit form to inquire and reserve your visit date.
The goats and sheep at Stearns Homestead are looking forward to their annual Christmas tree snack. We will once again collect live , cut trees after the holiday. When you are ready to discard your live 🌲tree you can bring it to the front south pasture. Use the south parking area for access. Look for the tree sign.
Please remove all tinsel and other decorations prior to your delivery. No painted trees, please.
